Brooklyn prof said that committing sexual assault is the right behavior for men. To say more, he mentioned that it’s a normal passage. Now, after the students called for administrators to fire the prof, he answers that it was a simple satire. In this post, the Typical Student team is going to shed light on the story.
Who’s This Prof?
His name is Mitchell Langbert, he’s 64 y.o., and he has been prof for 20 years. However, the Brooklyn College students were shocked after they saw the content of their professor’s blog. “If someone did not commit sexual assault in high school, then he is not a member of the male sex,” Langbert wrote.
The Blog
Here’s another interesting quote from the scandal blog.
"The Democrats have discovered that 15-year-olds play spin-the-bottle, and they have jumped on a series of supposed spin-the-bottle crimes during (Supreme Court nominee Brett) Kavanaugh's minority, which they characterize as rape, although no one complained or reported any crime for 40 years."
It was reposted to a private students’ group. Many of them were outraged.
"To have someone in a position of power espousing sexual assault is not a joke. It's something that needs to be taken seriously," Corrinne Greene said.
The Result
As a result, the students wanted Langbert fired. What was the reaction of the prof? Well, he answered that it was just was an attempt at satire. The prof called the post a parody and apologized to anyone who was offended.
