What Is Columbus Day?
Columbus Day is one of the 10 legal holidays in US. It commemorates the date when Christopher Columbus first set foot in the Americas. And it happened on the second Monday in October. And although the day is celebrated in US, Columbus Day it is not considered a major one. Lots of stores may run special sales today.
