According to the Street Talk, Education Centre of Australia (ECA) is considering an IPO (initial public offering). The institution helps international students to get ready for degrees and arranges internships. The Typical Student team learned the details.
How Much Is ECA Targeting?
As reported by Financial Review, ECA is "targeting a late 2019 listing and a deal that could value the company at about $500 million." The institution was founded in 2004 and is majority owned by Rupesh Singh, a former international student to Australia, who is now CEO to ECA. Education Centre of Australia already employs 300+ people and enrols over 7000 students. ECA has campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
ECA is considered a profitable business with an estimated revenue worth more than $100 million in the 2019 financial year. Apart from being a profitable venue, ECA plays a serious role in attracting international students' enrollment to Australia.
