Will Connolly, 17, from Victoria, aka 'eggboy' has become famous overnight after he "smashed an egg on the back of Senator Fraser Anning's head", as told by the DailyMail. The Typical Student team learned more about Connolly's unexpected fame.

Saturday afternoon, Will Connolly was behind Senator Fraser Anning at a Conservative National Party Meeting in Melbourne. The video footage of the "egging" instantly went viral gaining the Melbourne student fame. Now, murals are appearing to honour his "fit" all over Hosier Lane in Melbourne.

The Daily Mail reports that GoFundMe page has been created "to pay for the teenager's legal fees" and "to buy more eggs." The original goal was to raise $2,000, however at the moment of writing the page reached more than $40,000 and is still climbing. As told on the GoFundMe page by Mr Connolly himself, he intends "to donate the majority of the funds raised to the victims of the Christchurch terrorist attack."

In case you're wondering why Fraser Anning was egged, the answer is on the GoFundMe page: "Our hero EggBoi takes on Fraser Anning, the senator for Queensland that is now despised around the world for comments made after the shooting at a New Zealand mosque." During his speecj in Brisbane on Monday, Mr Anning told reporters Mr Connolly 'got a slap across the face, which is what his mother should have given him long ago'.
