Forward Conference 2019: 12,000 High School Students Raise $57K for Abused Women & Homeless

The unprecedented in scale Forward Conference 2019 gathered thousands of high school students and youth leaders outside Atlanta over the past weekend. Altogether, $57,000 has been raised for abused women and homeless across the USA, according to FoxNews. The Typical Student team learned more about one of the biggest charitable Christian student conferences of 2019.

  • Forward Conference 2019 was held at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Atlanta.
  • 12,600 high school students from 32 states and five countries visited Forward Conference 2019.
  • It lasted from Thursday to Saturday and was hosted by Jentezen Franklin's Free Chapel for the 14th year now.
  • Students raised money for the Dream Center, a faith-based organization in the USA that helps homeless families and specializes in addiction recovery. 
  • Forward Conference was held in partnership with New Beginnings, a ministry for women in Atlanta who have received help from addiction and abuse.

Forward Conference 2020 is set for June 25-27, 2020 at the Infinite Energy Center in Atlanta.
