Naomi Rees MISSING: Student from Rhydyfelin, South Wales, MIA Since August, 2018

Naomi Rees, 16, has been MIA from Rhydyfelin in South Wales since August 15, 2018. Naomi’s mother made a desperate appeal for her daughter to get in touch over the news outlets. The police have the reason to believe the missing student might be in the West Midlands or Staffordshire area. She is thought to have run off with Tomas Baker, 20, from Tamworth, Staffordshire. The Typical Student team is sending hopes and prayers in hope for Naomi’s soonest return.

Here’s what you should know about Naomi Rees:


1. September, 10 is Naomi’s 16th birthday. Naomi’s mother Grace admits she never imagined the family would have to spend this special occasion without "knowing where their daughter is or if she is safe or not."

2. Naomi is 5’6”, she was wearing a long scarf, dark jacket, dark jeans and black trainers and was carrying a holdall on the day she went missing.

3. The teen was spotted on CCTV boarding a bus heading towards Pontypridd town centre at 7.46am on the day she was last seen.

4. Police has all reasons to believe she was with Tomas Baker, who she is believed to have met online.


5. In her desperate plea, Naomi’s mother tried to make contact with the missing student:

"Not knowing where you are and how you are faring is killing us. We won’t rest until the day that you are home and love you more than words can express. Please Naomi, get in touch."
