For some students, September 2018 ended in a quite unusual way. For example, a Penn State student faces trial after he stealing $15,000 from ex-roommate. And guess why? For porn! Today, the Typical Student team is going to shed some light on this weird story.
Who Is This Student?
So, the young US hero who stole money for porn is a student at Penn State College. His name is Parker Schoem, he’s 21 y.o., and today the fellow is facing four felonies. One day, Parker decided to steal from ex-roommate to have money for porn and different adult websites for over three years! It took him $15,000 that the student stole using friend’s debit card information.
Missing Money
Finally, the roommate felt something was wrong. He started worrying about $10,000 missing from his bank account. He understood that it happened after he returned to Penn State from serving with the South Korean Army. The case went to local police who tracked the purchase information.
After the police saw Parker’s name on website subscription, the student confessed. Schoem said he memorized the information when the ex-roommate ordered some wings over the phone.
