Over the weekend, these INSANELY talented kids rolled out a video featuring Ludacris himself. Brace yourselves, as February 3 is the official Superbowl 2019 date, so grab your Super bowl tickets if you still haven't! The Typical Student team learned all about the music video made by the Ron Clark Academy students that went viral!
How Did Students Come Up With 2019 Superbowl Video?
As millions of football fans are to visit Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Super Bowl LIII on February 3rd, students of Ron Clark Academy decided to pay tribute to their hometown. Ron Clark Academy is known for its unique teaching methods and encouragement of student creativity. So, in the video students rap and show off crazy dance moves any music star will be jealous of!
"Welcome to the City!" 2019 Superbowl Video Notable Mentions
As the video is a present to the capital city of Georgia, it demonstrates Atlanta's prominent landmarks - from Piedmont Park and the Georgia Aquarium to historically black colleges like Morehouse and Spelman. The footage shows the students cheering on Atlanta United (the winners of the MLS Cup in 2018) and mentioning restaurants like the Varsity and J.R. Crickets. As for the cameos, there are Ludacris and Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. Also, Migos and Outkast got their notable mentions as a proof of Atlanta's rich tradition as a hip-hop capital.
