Needless to say, sexual violence is a real problem in today’s society. There are so many known cases when students were raped on campus. However, recent stats show that frat bros rape 300% more. The question is: should frats be banned? Today, the Typical Student team is going to discuss it.
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
These days, local police are working on a few cases connected to fraternity. It happened at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Several female students were found labeled with red and black X’s on their hands. They were hospitalized with memory lapses from intoxication after a fraternity party. Actually, now 1 in 5 women is sexually assaulted on campus!
Besides
Only in 2017, there were reported 3 sexual assaults at a Texas fraternity within a month. Talking about Georgia Tech, a local frat brother sent around an email guide called “Luring your rapebait”. Plus, a Wesleyan frat was called the “Rape Factory”. And, obviously, we all remember how fraternity brothers at Yale University marched through campus yelling, “No means yes, yes means anal.”
