Rumor has it, Taylor Swift is about to drop a surprise release today, so all of us need to calm down! On Monday, Taylor took to her Instagram to share a short clip from her music video for her latest single “You Need to Calm Down,” as reported by Billboard. The teaser shows an arrow hitting a target with a number 5 is in the middle. The Typical Student team learned the details about Taylor’s latest release.
Taylor teases a live stream
In her Instagram profile, Taylor posted a message with the following caption: “I have some stuff I’m reeeeeally excited to tell you about, including some info on this Easter egg right here.” Swift also announced a live stream scheduled for 5:00 p.m. EST, July 23.

In the teaser, viewers can see Hayley Kiyoko firing the arrow at the target. So, maybe Kiyoko could have something to do with the big news.
August 23 is the official release date for Taylor’s upcoming album “Lover.” Fans are wondering if there’s a collab between Taylor and Kiyoko is on the way. Come to think of it, a number five on the target could possibly mean the number of the track on “Lover.”
