This weekend is going to be a BLAST with so many mind-blowing festivals on the way! The Typical Student team has took the time to put the list of the fests you should definitely visit. Tune in!


May 3 – 6, 2018


SunFest is an annual music and art festival held in the first week of May attracting up to 300,000 visitors. The SunFest 2018 lineup lists an insane number of celebrities from ZEDD to Billy Idol. If you’re not from the area, the festival offers one-night and two-night accommodation packages. The one-day pass costs $49. Are you ready to enjoy four festival days filled with music and hot Palm Beach sun?


May 4 – 6, 2018


Beale Street Music Festival, known as Memphis in May, is a month-long themed festival honoring the specific country. This year’s festival is to salute Czech Republic. Apart from showcasing national and local musical talents, the Beale Street Music Festival lineup features some world famous artists like Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, Post Malone, etc. The single-day tickets are now available for $55.

Carolina Rebellion is an annual festival for the fans of hard rock and heavy metal. This year’s lineup includes the juggernauts of metal such as Alice In Chains, Bullet For My Valentine, Queens of the Stone Age as well as rock acts like Muse, Billy Idol, etc. The Carolina Rebellion campground is supplied with all the necessary facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Slope Day (Ithaca, NY)

Slope Day is an annual on-campus festival held at Cornell University. This is a non-alcohol celebration providing students with extra food, water, and fun activities before, during, and after the music attractions on stage. This year’s headliners are Young Bombs, Galantis, and Dreezy. Since this is an in-house festival, the ticket pricing policy varies depending on the guest category. Cornell University Undergraduate guest and alumni tickets cost $30 on presale. Meanwhile university graduate and professional student tickets cost $20.
