College Interview Tips From Ivy League Student

Stella is an Ivy League college student who also runs her YouTube channel Study To Success where she shares her tips and tricks for those who dream about getting into an Ivy League school. So here are some of her basic tips for college interviews. And here is what the Typical Student team is going to talk about!

College interviews don’t matter at all

Stella says that interviews are not as much important as your application essays and grades. Moreover, she claims that interviews are made for students to get to know with a particular school and ask questions about it if they have any. Stella also suggests not freaking out if you didn’t have an interview with your dream school because it doesn’t mean that you were rejected.

Don’t be late

Stella says that interviews always start on time, so she recommends coming 15 minutes before the time of your interview so that you definitely won’t be late.

Don’t freak out if you can’t find your interviewer

According to Stella, some interviews are being held in such unconventional places as coffee shops or cafés, so it might be difficult to find your interviewer. But don’t panic, you can call or text your interviewer in order to find them.

Be up to date on the news

Stella claims that some interviewers might ask your opinion about some things that are going on in the world. So it would be nice if you are able to express your opinion about certain events in the world and show that you are interested in what’s going on outside the United States.

Be nice and be yourself

Stella says that for a really successful interview you just have to relax and be yourself.
