What Do Fraternity Members Do? 

As a rule, fraternities and sororities have five common elements:

  • single-sex membership
  • initiation ceremonies
  • residential property 
  • Greek heraldry and symbols

Apart from drinking and throwing parties, fraternity members occasionally do something nice. For instance, they may engage in charity and philanthropic activities or help their newly graduated members get a job. 

Should You Join a Fraternity or Sorority?
