There are lots of people who love K-pop, and especially BTS. The Typical Student team learned about a viral text exchange between a teacher and a student that ended up in a very unexpected way. As reported by BuzzFeed, Nadia Qureshi, 19, a law student from the UK, was once texting her teacher about an essay that was due.
However, instead of sending screenshots with questions, the student sent a pic of BTS member Suga just by accident.
Qureshi commented: "I literally had a semi-heart attack. I do this all the time. I just shouldn’t trust myself with a phone at this point in." Qureshi's tutor, Amy Richards, who's 23 year old tutor, suddenly got to like BTS, and turned into somewhat of a fan. Amy named "Fake Love" and "Idol" among her favorite songs.
Amy said: "After I was sent "Outro Tear", I searched it on Youtube and watched a performance from one of their concerts. I was blown away, you can tell they put a lot of effort into their concerts and honestly it was amazing."
The text exchange between the student and the teacher went viral after Qureshi tweeted it out. The Twitterverse called Qureshi a hero for spreading the word about BTS and K-pop. Below are some of the reactions:
