Remember, the Typical Student team recently told you about the viral hot girl summer meme? Well, now the meme community came up with something quite the opposite - a whole new meme called "Christian Girl Autumn." Bet, you've seen these gorgeous women in pictures - swooping scarves, matching leather bags, brown ankle boots, and beautiful curls. As they're smiling, they look picture perfect in the pictures.
The origin of the "Christian Girl Autumn" meme
The picture of two Southern influencers that dates back to three years ago has recently gone viral and gave an origin to whole new “Christian Girl Autumn” meme. The person behind this new wave of virality on the web is none other than a 19-year-old named Giovanni. As told by the BuzzFeed News community, her's a college student, who currently resides in the Long Island, New York. Giovanni loves to spend his time making jokes on "troll" Twitter.
Here's what he said about that:
“I know a lot of people think online trolls are bad, but I’ve been trying to be a good one with @lasagnabby.”
The image in question was discovered by the actual women posing in the photo. These are bloggers Emily Gemma (left) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Caitlin Covington (right) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The bloggers said it was a just a blogging trip where they "changed outfits and took a lot of pictures." According to the bloggers, they "look so basic" in their blanket scarves and holding their Pumpkin Spice Lattes. As this photo is three years old, fashion obviously changed, so they don’t wear the same style of outfits! anymore. And now to the hilarious tweets:
