Playing around with Snapchat filters and Tinder app can lead to quite unexpected consequences. At least that's what happened to Jake Askew, 20, from Norwich, UK. Jake set up a Tinder profile because he liked the way he looked with Snapchat female filter. Suddenly, plenty of men on Tinder agreed and 'liked' Jake's profile more than 1,650 times! Besides, he got about 400 matches, which is impressive. The Typical Student team learned more about Askew's Tinder adventures.
Jake vs Jess
Jake called his female alter-ego 'Jess', a student at the University of Derby. And so, guys started getting in touch to "make some rather indecent proposals." In his interview to LADbible, Jake commented: "One chap asked 'Are you a piece of art because I want to nail you up against the wall'. There were also indecent hints on some guy's 'pork sword.' Another bloke asked 'Jess' to 'sit on his face' straight away.
Here's what Jake looks like in real life:
Jake added: "I didn't let anyone know about it, I'll keep em guessing."
What Did The Guys Write To Jake On Tinder?
So, here's just a brief example of messages Jake received on his Tinder profile being 'Jess'.
Looks like someone overreacted a bit.
And this one above is a 'pork sword' guy.
We can only imagine what messaged other girls get.
Askew tweeted his Tinder experience, the tweet has garnered over 6,300 likes. The tweet read as follows: "So rather than going out, me & SJ decided to see how far Jess could go on tinder.. within an hour I was the most popular girl in Derby."
